"Great Ancoats Street" by L.S.Lowry. Limited edition print of 850 copies, signed and numbered and bearing the publishers stamp.

Published in the mid 1970's by Grove Galleries of Manchester. The owner George Aird was a personal friend of Lowry as was George's son Ivan, now acknowledged as a leading authority on the painter's work.

The print has not seen the light of day since it was purchased from the publisher in the 70's. It was carefully wrapped in brown paper by the collector and has only recently appeared on the market. It is still in it's original mount and is in pristine condition.
